Dale S. Dalrymple

March 14, 1950 — June 30, 2022

Dale S. Dalrymple, age 72, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away on June 30, 2022. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 14, 1950 to the late Joseph and Marjorie Dalrymple. In addition to his parents Dale was preceded in death by his son, Michael E. Dalrymple.

Dale is survived by his son, Douglas S. Dalrymple; grandchildren: Rylie B. Supinger, Cymon J. Dalrymple, and Emma M. Dalrymple; siblings: Joanne E. Jackson and Barry L. (Carolyn) Dalrymple; his former wife, Mary Ellen Oakes, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Dale graduated from Vandalia Butler High School, class of 1968, and attended Ohio University. He retired from Stillwater Technologies and also worked many years for A.O. Smith. He loved riding bikes, astronomy, playing darts and chess. He was a knife collector and enjoyed woodworking and creating things for those he loved.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm.
