Dale Kenneth Carter, age 58 of Dayton, OH passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at his residence. He was born January 4, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio to Ralph and Elenora (Barnett) Carter. Dale married Cathy Stanton on September 19, 1987 in Riverside, OH.
Dale graduated from Walter E. Stebbins High School in 1980. He worked at Mosher Machine and Tool Inc. for a year, previously working for several manufacturing companies over the years. Dale loved to hunt and was a Boy Scout leader for Troop #193 in Kettering and was a member of the Boy Scouts for 15 years. He loved animals, especially his Brittany Spaniels. Dale was a member of the Milton Athletic Club since January of 2013 and was a board member for two years. He was a "hand-on kinda guy" and the first person to call when things went wrong. Dale loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Dale is survived by his wife of 32 years Cathy; a son, Noah (Kirsten) Carter; his parents Ralph and Elenora; two sisters, Jeannie (Neil Jr.) Yingling and Ellen Carter; and other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Celebration of Dale's life will be held at the Milton Club, 640 Cosler Drive, Dayton, OH 45403 on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 5:30 to 9:00 pm. Pastor Eric Wright will conduct a service during the celebration at 6:30 pm, followed by the remainder of the celebration.
