Dale R. Carter, 60, of Dayton, OH passed away unexpectedly on January 25, 2020.
He was born on April 17, 1959 to James and Laura (Hughes) Carter in Pontiac, MI.
Dale retired from Custodial/Facilities Services after 20 years at Rochester Community Schools in MI.
He proudly served at South Park United Methodist Church and Gospel Mission.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Laura Carter.
Dale was a very loving husband and friend. He took pride in his hard work, and dedicated a lot of time to helping at his churches. He cared deeply for his home and cats, Greta & Tina.
Dale is survived by his husband of 32 years & love of his life, Raymond "Rusty" Russell; daughter, Breanna Carter; sister, Theresa Copeland; brother, Wesley Carter; and other loving family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020, 1 pm at the Oakwood United Methodist Church (206 Hadley Ave, Oakwood, OH 45419) with Pastor Thomas Miller, officiating. Family will receive guests starting at 12 pm.
Arrangements in the care of Newcomer North Chapel.
