Dale Ankeney

December 23, 1951 — February 28, 2023

Dale passed away in his cherished childhood home on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the age of 71. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, but grew up in Beavercreek, where he was a friendly fixture of the farming community. Dale graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1970, and went on to earn his Bachelor's from Wright State University in 1975. He retired from Emery Worldwide Air Freight. He loved Westerns and Sci-Fi, vintage cars, airplanes, and heavy metal music. Dale was a beloved husband and stepfather, a loving brother, a caring uncle, and a compassionate friend.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents Luella and Fred Ankeney. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Robin Parkey, and stepson JJ Parkey (James); sister Joan Fuller (Chuck); sisters and brothers-in-law, Gloria Shelton (Ken), Monty Parkey, Tim Parkey (Kellie), and Mark Parkey; nephews Nathan and Nolan Fuller; as well as many other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek OH 45432. Visitation will be at 12:00 noon with the service beginning at 1:00pm. Burial to follow the service at Beaver United Church of Christ.
