Daisy Phipps

Phipps, Daisy Eleanor, age 92, of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at The Laurels of Mt. Vernon. She was born February 11, 1915 in Saskatchewan, Canada, the daughter of John W. & Stella (Sterling) Watkins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm; grandsons, Bubby Cooper & H. D. Campbell, II; and her son-in-law, Franklin Copenhaver. Survivors include her children, Billie Ann (Robert) Goodrick of Cleveland, OH; Ida Mae Copenhaver of Dayton; Phyllis Rhea (Don) Campbell of Mesa, AZ; and Wilma Jeanette (Jim) Keifer of Mt. Vernon; 18 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many loved friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 5-7 PM.
