Daisy Martin 84, passed away March 29th after a courageous battle with cancer.
A coal miner's daughter from Jellico, TN with an unbreakable independent spirit who followed Jesus and enjoyed simple pleasures: the Bible, dogs, and country cooking.
Her interests were also dancing, Bingo, and classic country music.
She is survived by daughters Camille (Greg) and Kathy (Karl), sisters Ella and Helen, and nieces Donna, Diane, Linda and Lana Jo.
A memorial service to celebrate Daisy's life will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 5:00 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439.
Daisy's family will greet friends on Saturday from 3:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society or Episcopal Retirement Homes.
