Daisy M. Burns

BURNS, Daisy M., age 75, was called home Friday, September 21, 2007. She is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Beulah Steele; husband of 37 years, Jewell Burns, and son, Terry Burns. Daisy is survived by her son, Jerry (Ann) Burns; siblings, Myrtle Blackford, Anna Marie Paullus, and Helen Vance; grandchildren, Nathan, Nick, and Emily Burns, and beloved dog, "Puggy". She was a devoted member of the South Dayton Baptist Church and retired from Grandview Hospital after 30 years of service. Our sweet Daisy will truly be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm Monday, September 24, 2007 at the funeral home. Pastor Steve Thornhill officiating. Interment at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
