Cynthia H. Wright, age 84 of Dayton, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at her home. She was born July 20, 1934 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Samuel and Melissa McIntosh.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Leonard E. Wright, Sr.; son, Leonard E. "Buddy" Wright, Jr.; as well as several siblings.
Cynthia is survived by her children, Starla Rimkus, Tamela Wright, Cindy McAdams, Sean Wright, Sr., Charles Wright; grandchildren, Leonard "Toby" Wright III, Ronald (Barbara) Rimkus, Stacey (Steve) Pence, Jacob Rimkus, Melissa (Tim) Stockman, Amanda Wright, Sean Wright Jr., April Wright; great grandchild, Ashlynn Powell; numerous other great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; nephews, Larry and Gary Walden; great niece, Shawna McIntosh; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Cynthia was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 10 am, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Dayton National Cemetery at 11:45 am, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
