Cynthia L. Richardson, "Cindy", age 74, of Kettering, passed awayThursday, December 15, 2022. She was born April 19, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio. Along with her mother Margaret Bond and aunt Irene Riley, Cindy was raised with her cousin and best friend. She and Rita went on to raise their children together.
For several years Cindy worked for the Rike's Dept. Store in the Dayton Mall in the handbag department.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Bond, her cousin Rita Shea and her husband Tom, her aunt Irene Riley and her uncle Robert Bond and his wife was Myrtle. Cindy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Linville "Lin" Richardson; her son Rob (Kelly) Richardson; 4 granddaughters Aembur (Jared) Proffitt, Brittany Richardson, Courtney Richardson, and Danielle Richardson along with her great-grandchildren Gavin, Gwen, Callie, Nash, Harper and Reagan.
In her free time, Cindy enjoyed scrap booking, crafting and sewing. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed caring for animals as well as donating to wildlife and rescue shelters. Cindy was known for her "Elvis obsession" and loved his music as well as decorating with his memorabilia.
Cindy's life was centered around her devotion to her family. She had a giving nature and always made sure her family and friends were happy. Cindy was truly loved will be remembered as a sweet and loving person.
