Cynthia Lee Marshall

It is with profound sadness, the family of Cynthia Lee Marshall, age 68 of Germantown, announce her unexpected passing on Thursday, November 25, 2021. She was born February 2, 1953 in Jamestown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Neil and Ruth (Roberts) Hoppel.

Cynthia is survived by her daughter, Kirsten Jones; son, Jared McAllister; brother, Allen (Lisa) Hoppel of Xenia, grandson, Jordan Williams and granddaughter, Preslie Riley. She is also survived by a host of loving family members and many dear friends.

Cindy loved her family beyond measure and was immensely proud of them. Most of all, she was a dedicated mother and treasured every moment with her children and grandchildren. She was giving to a fault. She would do anything for anyone. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Cindy. Her love of reading was one of her greatest passions. She didn't go anywhere without a book. Cindy's feisty demeanor and unquestionable views made her who she was. She loved to laugh and had the great ability to make those around her laugh too. Her sense of humor will be greatly missed.

There were no boundaries to her love. She always sacrificed her needs for the good of her family. She had a quiet strength about her. She always looked for whatever bit of happiness could be found. Always supportive and encouraging, always kind and giving. Cindy's love, support, laugh, sense of humor, giving spirit, and dedication to her family will never be forgotten.

She would always say…"I love you more." I think I will miss that most.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at the convenience of the family after the first of the year. Notification of time and place will be sent out at a later date.
