Cynthia L. King

Cynthia L. King, age 59 of Dayton, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 2, 2014. She was born September 14, 1955 in Dayton to her mother, Margaret Barney and her late father, Harry Barney. Cynthia was preceded in death by her daughter, Alissa King and father-in-law, John King in 2014.

She is survived by her husband, Robert King; daughter, Erin (Steve) Russell; grandchildren, Madelyn, Jenna and Juliette; mother, Margaret; sister, Melody (Jim) Fox; brothers, Steve (Vicki) and Mark (Vicki) Barney; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Cynthia graduated from Stebbins High School and worked at the University of Dayton. She attended Basore Road Grace Brethren Church and was a committed follower of Christ. She enjoyed sharing her crafting skills and helping others. Cynthia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Oma), daughter, sister and friend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Basore Road Grace Brethren Church or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Cynthia's memory. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
