Cynthia L. Hanneken

Cynthia L. Hanneken, age 63, passed away July 12, 2016 in Dayton, Ohio. She was born to the late James Bycofski and Nina Bycofski on July 23, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio. Cindy was a loving wife, mother and grammy who enjoyed fishing, crafting, reading and spending time with her three grandchildren, Mason, Brice and Corrine. She retired from Esther Price Candies on Airway Road after 22 years. Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Steven Hanneken; two daughters Angela (Griff) Nowicki and Stacey (Michael) Talbott; three grandchildren; sister Jennifer (Terry) Nyquist and special friends Beverly Booher and Brenda Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Deborah Bycofski and friend Gina Snowden. A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 6pm-7pm with a funeral service to follow at 7pm. Although we are all grieving her loss, we know she is grateful to have "blown this popsicle stand."
