Cynthia "Cindy" (Pratt) Zimmer

Cynthia "Cindy" Jean (Pratt) Zimmer, age 68 of Union, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2025. She was born June 6, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of the late Donald and Thelma (Poynter) Pratt.

Cindy was a graduate of Fairview High School in Dayton, Ohio. She worked as an executive secretary with the University of Dayton, Denver University, and the Segal Company in Denver, Colorado. Most recently she worked for Dr. Gary Palmer Dermatology. 

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, John Pratt (1994); uncle, Don Poynter (2007); and husband, John Zimmer (2020).

She is survived by siblings, Mike (Diane) Pratt, Dan (Charlene) Pratt, and Jenny Pratt; siblings-in-law, Dave (Lynn) Zimmer, Tom (Tammy) Zimmer, and Ellen Zimmer; nieces and nephews, Robby, Andrew (Megan), Elizabeth (Harlo), Joe (Alyssa), Nathan (Ana), and Jacob (Autumn); great nieces and nephews, Brittany, Ryan, Colton, Logan, Emma, Owen, Ella, Lilly, Easton, Olivia, Elliot, Fairen, and Beckett; "Cindy's kids", Lucy and Baker; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 10am to 11am Fairview United Methodist Church, 828 West Fairview Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45406, with Rev. Neil Gaiser and Rev. Mike Pratt presiding. A memorial service will follow at 11am also at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Fairview United Methodist Church, 828 West Fairview Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45406.
