Curtis Flynn
June 5, 1927 — July 3, 2020
Curtis "Curt" Flynn, age 93 of Moraine, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 31, 2020 at his residence. He was born June 5, 1927 in Cob Hill, Kentucky to the late Richard and Lillie Flynn.
He is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Curt is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Elsie Marie Flynn; his three children, Ronnie (Vickie) Flynn, Connie (Eddie) Lindon and Donnie (Michelle) Flynn; seven grandchildren, Jason (DeEdra) Lindon, Dawn (Tim) Didas, Nicholas Flynn, Andy (Kaylena) Lindon, Daniel Flynn, Jenni Flynn, and Angela Flynn; nine great-grandchildren, Sierra (Steven) Faulkner, Paige Didas, Dakota Brown, Jayla Lindon, Drew Lindon, Blake Flynn, Cameron Flynn, Ryder Lindon and Nevaeh Flynn; two great-great-grandchildren, Gavin Brown and Jace Faulkner and one on the way; sister, Addie Jenkins; two sister-in-laws, Alberta White and Martha Wyatt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Curt was a member of the West Carrollton Masonic Lodge #737 for 49 years and a proud Navy Veteran. He was retired from General Motors after 30 years and one of the first to join the Moraine Fire Department as a firefighter and an EMT. Curt was a devoted Baptist and family man. In his spare time he could be found working on cars, going to garage sales, and cherishing his time with family and friends.
Graveside Services will be officiated by Doug Surber at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. Evergreen Cemetery is located at 401 North Miami Ave. West Carrollton, Ohio 45449. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Curt's name to Miami Shores Baptist Church.
