DYE, Curtis, age 76, of Centerville, passed away Tues., May 18, 2004 at Hospice of Dayton. Born June 16, 1927 in Cary, KY to the late Thomas & Viola (Henson) Dye. He was preceded in death by sisters Jacqueline Mink and Artie Carter and by granddaughter Hannah Marie Dye. Curtis is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maxine; son David Dye (Linda) of Columbus, IN; daughter Kim Dye of Dayton; grandchildren Daniel, Sarah, Leah, Rachel and John Dye; brothers Bruce Dye of Centerville and Phillip Carter of KY; sisters Naomi Crawford of TN, Joyce Compton of KY and Phyllis Green of KY; and his church family at Franklin Baptist Church, Franklin, OH. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from Delco Moraine. Funeral services 11 A.M., Fri. May 21, 2004 at the Franklin Baptist Church, 160 Deardoff Rd., Franklin. Pastor Joey Bacon officiating. Interment Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday (TODAY) from 5 - 8 P.M. at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Leukemia Society in Curtis' memory.
