Craig Alan Wulfeck Sr., age 77 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born April 4, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Howard (Betty) Wulfeck and Lillian (Bud) Froehle.
Craig graduated from Belmont High School in 1964. While there, he met his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Carole Weeks. He also played basketball and ran track. Craig and Carole married on May 8, 1965 and their beautiful journey began because these two people fell in love.
Craig worked at General Motors as a machinist for 33 years. He was a faithful member of Shroyer Road Baptist Church since 1973. He played and coached softball with his church and his son. He also enjoyed golfing and bowling. His faith and family meant everything to him. He will be remembered for being the most unselfish man who would always put family and others before himself.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandsons, Daniel Cunningham and infants, Brett Edward Turpin & Benjamin Craig Turpin and son-in-law, Chris Cunningham.
Craig is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carole; children, Tracey Cunningham, Jennifer Turpin & Craig (Meg) Wulfeck Jr.; grandchildren, Brandon & Cameron Turpin, Leah Cunningham, Emma & Brett Baker and Molly Wulfeck; great grandchildren, Elliana Turpin, Ariella Cunningham and Lukas Bowlin; brother, Ron (Paulette) Wulfeck; lifelong friends, Terry Focht, Bob Brown, Bob Miranda and Jesse Begley and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shroyer Road Baptist Church (508 Shroyer Rd, Dayton, OH 45419) in Craig's honor.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
