Craig Warren Freed, 41 of Dayton, OH passed away on May 12, 2022 after a long battle with congestive heart failure.
Craig was born on December 25, 1980 to parents John and Darlene Freed of Dayton, OH. He graduated from Grace A Greene Academy as president of his class (JROTC) in 1999. He worked installing driveways and sidewalks for Lightcap Paving, Jefferson Township street maintenance and was a Commercial driver for Rumpke Waste & Recycling.
Craig was preceded by grandparents, Warren and Yvonne Freed, Beatrice Kelly and Aunt Diane Sauer.
Memories will be cherished by Gwen Ballard who was his partner in life for 15 years. Daughter Jaelyn Freed, sons Camren Freed, Brayden Freed and Aiden Freed. Parents John and Darlene Freed, Sisters Jenette (Kevin) Northcutt, Lenette (Kenny) Day, Brother Christopher (Keri) Dodge and a host of nieces and nephews.
Craig was a family man who cherished his life partner, children, parents, siblings, nieces, nephews and friends. He will never be forgotten and he will always be loved.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 5:00pm-6:00pm at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the memorial service will begin at 6:00 pm.
