Craig Walton Farr, age 67, a lifetime resident of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
He graduated from Stebbins High School where he played on the football team. Craig went on to earn his Bachelors degree from Morehead State University in Kentucky. He retired from the City of Dayton Parks and Recreation where he enjoyed teaching kids how to play golf, baseball and other sports.
During his free time, Craig was a passionate golfer, enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. He was an avid sports fan, a great cook and especially enjoyed time with his family.
Craig was preceded in death by his father Walton Farr as well as his grandparents, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his mother Barbara Ann Farr; two sisters Felicia Farr, Deborah (Tom) Hilgeman, along with his niece Carrie (Brian) Jones and their sons Brandon and Caleb Jones; and his nephew Thomas Walton "T.W." Hilgeman. Craig is also survived by his first and only love, his longtime fiancé Joanne Moeller and her family Justin (Lisa) Silvers and their children Jayden, Madalynn and Lilly Silvers, Destry Moeller, Zachary Moeller, Sierra (Joshua) Hughes and their sons Calebb and Colten Hughes; his golf buddy and good friend Don Block and other loved family and close friends.
Craig was a beloved son, brother, uncle, fiancé and friend who will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Craig's Life will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45409.
