Cosby Marler

MARLER, Cosby T. "Tom", age 78, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at Dayton Heart Hospital. He was born September 3, 1926 in Dayton, TN, the son of George and Stella (Elza) Marler. Tom was a World War II veteran serving with the United States Army and retired from General Motors after many years. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol; one daughter, Peggy Marler; one sister, Joan Beene. He was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Sidney Marler; step-father, Dexter Sherrill. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 15, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum with visitation 1 hour prior to time of service.
