Cory Allen Speakman, age 42, of Kettering, Ohio passed away December 27, 2018 at his home.
Cory was born October 26, 1976 in Louisiana, the son of Earl "Corky" and Rebecca "Becky" Speakman.
He was a proud US Army veteran. Cory worked for Kettering Anesthesia Associates as a CRNA and previously at Kettering Medical Center in CTCU as a Registered Nurse. He enjoyed golfing and loved to play poker.
Cory is survived by loving wife of over 9 years, Michelle L. Speakman; daughter, Meghan N. Speakman; step-sons, Don E. (Adan Churape) Rice, III; Preston J. Rice; parents, Rebecca "Becky" Speakman and Earl "Corky" Speakman; sister, Christy (Adam) Speakman-Flores; beloved dog, Barko; grand-dog, Dolly; along with many extended family, friends and co-workers.
Family will receive friends Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Newcomer South Dayton Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio, where a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m.
