Cornell Robert Brewer, "Joe," age 57 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born January 21, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his son, Cornell "C.J." Brewer; father, Bill Brewer; mother, Bonnie Brewer-Ellison; step-father, Glen Ellison; siblings, Billy Brewer, Lonnie Brewer, Robin Brewer-Peyton, Chasity Brewer; grandparents; and nephews, Billy McCarroll, Bryan Butts.
Joe is survived by the love of his life of 27 years, Bethany Johnson; sister, Judy Brewer (Tom Vann); brother, Ronnie (Tammy) Brewer; step-brother, Eric Ellison; nieces and nephews, Michael (Mary) Mills, Brian (Sasha) Vann, Loni Vann, Robert (Ashley) Vann, Andrew Vann, Joshua Vann, Amy Brewer, Jay Brewer, Brittany Brewer, Breanna Brewer (Jacob), Keith Brewer, Heather Peyton, B.J. (Ashley) Peyton, Lexi Johnson; numerous great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; as well as many friends.
Joe was a loving partner, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him and forever in our hearts.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at Woodland Cemetery (118 Woodland Avenue, Dayton, OH 45409).
