Corbett Helton

Corbett Helton, age 98, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on January 14, 2023. He was born in Wolfe County, KY on July 15, 1924 to the late Andrew and Nannie Helton. In addition to his parents Corbett was preceded in death by his wife Stella Helton; and 4 sons: Dwayne, Timothy, Marshall, and Douglass.

Corbett is survived by his children: Michael (Victoria) Helton, Wayne (Diane) Helton, Kimberly (Lonnie) Hoskins, and Byron Helton; 7 grandchildren: Wendy (Jeff) O'Neal, Steve (Billy) Helton, Kenneth (Beth) Helton, Justin Helton, Nicole Helton, Matthew (Danece) Hoskins, and January (Mark) Williams; 22 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:30pm officiated by Pastor Jerry Fyffe. Corbett will be laid to rest next to his wife and sons at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
