Cora Jones, age 99, passed away 6/13/17 with loving family at her side.
Cora was one of 17 children born and raised in Pulaski, Virginia. Cora was preceded in death by her parents, Burt & Claudia Duncan; husband of 45 years, Earl; son, Doug and 4 grandchildren.
Left to celebrate her life, 2 sisters, Bea & Ethel; children, Donald (Theresa), Earl Jr. (Denise), Johnny (Lois), Carol (Marvin), Sherman (Mindy) and Larry (Susie). Cora was a proud grandma to 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
We will be celebrating her life at Miami Shores Baptist Church at 4000 Vance Rd, where she was a member, on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 10-11am. The service will follow at 11am. Cora will be laid to rest next to her husband at Highland Cemetery.
The family would like to express their thanks to everyone at Canterbury Court for always looking out for her.
