Constancio C. Lapara, Jr. age 77 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021. He was born July 4, 1944 in the Philippines, the son of the late Constancio Sr. and Felicidad Lapara. In addition to his parents, Constancio was preceded in death by his two children, Angeline and Resty.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria; children, Edgardo, Dexter, George, Yolanda, Ma.Cristina, Jeffrey and Karlyn; 22 grandchildren; sister, Remy; 5 brothers-in-law; 5 sisters-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Constancio loved sports. He was part of the coaching staff in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA (USA) for Sepak Takraw. Constancio was also part of the military coaching staff in the Philippines. He was a varsity basketball player for Far Eastern University.
A private service will be held by the family.
