Connie Jo Sage

Connie Jo Sage, age 72, of Dayton, passed away on October 21, 2022, at Ayden Health Care of Belle Springs, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on August 24, 1950, the daughter of the late Howard Bim Johnson and Nancy "Charmaine" Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her father; her beloved husband, Jerry Sage, Sr.; her brother, Michael Johnson; and her great granddaughter.

Connie is survived by her loving son, Jerry (Kelly) Sage, Jr.; her daughter, Jenny Bosier; mother, Nancy "Charmaine" Johnson; grandchildren, Jacob (Jordan), Justin (Destiny), Chelsea, Katie and Isaiah; step-grandchildren, Kurt (Stephanie), Cy (Megan) and Alexis (Robert); 6 great grandchildren; 5 step-great grandchildren; siblings, Vicki (John) Harshman and Sean (Jhama) Johnson; sister-in-law, Gloria Johnson; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Connie retired from Dayton Public Schools after more than 20 years of employment. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, camping, eating her chocolates and spending time with her family. She had a very fun-loving nature and was always the life of the party. Connie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where a Celebration of her Life will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff, especially Sharyn Wilt, of Ayden Health Care for the wonderful care given to Connie.
