Connie Sue Penewit
July 10, 1954 — August 26, 2023
Connie Sue Penewit, 69, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving mother of David (Toni) Lamka and Robert Lamka; adored Nana of Easton, Parker, Kaden, Raelynn and Oaklyn; cherished sister of Everett (Luann) Moorman and Teresa (Donnie) Moorman-Lovett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by the love of her life Robert D. "Denny" Penewit, her parents Robert and Elizabeth Moorman and her brother Rick Moorman.
Connie was born on July 10th, 1954 in Xenia, Ohio. She graduated from Xenia High School in 1972. She went to work for Twist Inc. and retired after 29 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed camping with family at Longs Retreat and Indian Lake. The real joy of her life was the time that she spent with her grandchildren. She will forever be in our hearts.
Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Saturday September 16, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Please consider a donation in Connie's memory to The American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org/donate.html).
