On Friday, June 2, 2023, Connie Jennene Nowotny, loving wife, mother of two, grandmother of two, and great-grandmother of two, passed away at 88 years of age.
Connie was born May 12, 1935, in Zanesville Ohio. Connie met and married Mel Nowotny in 1954. Together, they loved to camp, fish for walleye at Lake Erie, and mushroom hunt in Zanesville. Connie also loved to knit and was an avid reader. Connie was all about family and always wanted to know how all family members were doing.
Connie is survived by her husband, Mel, her daughter, Tara and son-in-law Doug Hood, her son Gus and daughter-in-law Penny, her two granddaughters, Lindsay and Ashley, and her two great-grandsons, Nolan and Graham.
