Connie Mitchell

Connie June Mitchell, age 50, of Kettering passed away on December 12, 2008 at Kettering Hospital after a 5 ½ year long battle with cancer. She was born on January 16, 1958 in Dayton Ohio to Maurice & Evelyn Applegate. She married Mike on June 27, 1986, but had been dating him since her senior year of high school in 1976. She taught preschool for 12 years, changing the lives of many kids throughout the years. She is survived by her husband Mike; her daughter Amber; her son Dennis and two sisters Victoria & Carol and family. She was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn; her father Maurice and her son Shawn. Her body was donated to the Wright State Anatomical Gift Program. Memorial services have been set for Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 7PM at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel. The family will receive visitors from 5PM until the time of service.
