Connie J. Sturr

STURR, Connie J. age 71 of Dayton, passed away Monday, November 7, 2005 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Alice Dean, her infant son Steven, her son Phillip R. Sturr Jr. and her brother John Dean. She is survived by Phillip Sr., her loving husband of 53 years, her children Susan and husband William Acton of Clarkston, MI, Greg Sturr and Brian Sturr both of Dayton,; granddaughters Emily and Isabel Acton; brothers Carl and wife Marianna Dean of Vandalia, Jim and wife Mary Dean of Findley; sisters Betty Young of Connersville, IN, Sue Anthony of Vandalia, Mary and husband Jimmy Lehman of Kettering; numerous nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends. Connie was a past member of Greenmont Oak Park Community Church, where she was very active in teaching Sunday School and caring for the sick and shut-in. She was a licensed real estate agent serving the Kettering area. Connie was a loving wife, mother and supporter of the arts. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Road. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service.
