Conley "Stan" Stanley Jr., 81, of Tipp City, passed away on January 31, 2015 at Upper Valley Medical Center at the Hospice of Miami County Unit. He was born on March 12, 1933 in Evarts, KY to the late Conley and Loretta (Miles) Stanley.
Stan enjoyed working and retired from multiple businesses; TRW Globe Motors, St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and St. Leonards Retirement Center. He was an avid supporter of MC for MD and loved riding his motorcycle. To all that knew him, he was a remarkable husband, father, mentor and friend.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Clara; infant son, Ricky; daughter, Donna Williams; brothers, Lewis, Clyde and Carl. Stan is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Alvada; children, David Stanley, Rodney (Pam) Stanley, Conley (Melissa) Stanley III, Al "Snow" Sarven, Brian (Jill) Sarven; 12 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends, including a special friend, Jim Walker.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM, Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Visitation will also be held from 10 - 11 AM, Thursday at the Tipp City Church of the Nazarene, 1221 West Main St., Tipp City, where funeral services will begin at 11 AM, Thursday, with Rev. Bradley W. Warkentine officiating. Burial will take place at Dayton Memorial Park.
Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Miami County or the American Cancer Society.
