From a young age Colton was drawn to music, art and creative writing. His exceptional artistic abilities were recognized early on by many of his teachers. He played in a band and even wrote his own music. He was an intelligent and creative old-soul who could articulate beautifully through his writing and art. He even had dreams of becoming a teacher someday. He cared about his friends that he loved. Colton had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his dog, Scout.
If love could have saved Colton, he would still be here. He is forever loved by so many. While he was unable to overcome his addiction, he fought a hard battle.
