Collin Owen Glenn, age 18, of Beavercreek OH, passed away on November 14, 2022. He was born on April 26, 2004, at Wright Patterson Medical Hospital, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, the first son of Brian Glenn and Christine Prather-Glenn.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents Christine Prather-Glenn and Brian Michael Glenn, his brother, Mathew David Glenn, his grandparents Donna and David Prather, his aunts and uncles, Charles and Cheryl Prather, Sean and Jennifer Glenn, Owen Glenn, Richard Glenn, and Kathy DeWein, his cousins Joey DeWein, Owen DeWein, Abigail DeWein, Hazel Glenn, Jackson Glenn, Alex Glenn, Nathan Glenn, Maggie Glenn, Caitlyn Prather, and Connor Prather. He has several extended family members on his mother's side in Oldham County, KY, Cincinnati OH, and Coral Springs, FL. Additionally on his father's side in Buffalo, NY and Tampa, FL.
Collin was finishing his senior year at K-12 Private Academy. He attended his first three years of high school at Archbishop Alter High School, where he ran cross country. Among the people and activities he enjoyed most were his cross-country time, his teammates, and friends. He excelled at weightlifting at Dayton Strength and Conditioning. He loved good music of all kinds, he enjoyed mythology, sports cars, Star Wars, and building things like motors, furniture, and computers. Collin was a good, kind, and sensitive soul who knew how to read people. He was great with kids and quick with a clever joke or hug. Sadly, he suffered from chronic illness and lost his battle.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 6pm to 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH.
A private family only Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
