Colleen D. Irwin

Colleen D. Irwin, age 96, of Kettering, passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 at Suites of Walnut Creek. She was born August 21, 1923 in Elgin, Tennessee the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Duncan.

She was a talented seamstress who also loved to read. Colleen was active in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and her children's PTA programs. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Irwin.

Colleen is survived by her children, Bart (Tracy) Irwin and Jill Brewer; grandchildren, Brady, Kelsey and Duncan Irwin, Adam and Ryan Brewer; siblings, Claude (Helen) Duncan and Delores Bruns; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Family will receive friends, Friday, November 1, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Private interment at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
