Clyde W. Wyatt, age 76, of Kettering, Ohio, was taken home by our Lord on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 surrounded by close family.
Clyde was born in Pikeville, Tennessee on May 10, 1936, moved to Dayton in his younger years, and lived in the Dayton area the remainder of his life. He retired from Chrysler where he worked for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackson and Dora (Croft) Wyatt, and his brothers, Luther, Thomas, and Carlos.
Clyde is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Martha (Cross) Wyatt; his children, Cheryl (Larry) Fugate, William (Teresa) Wyatt, Christina Rother, and Timothy Wyatt; grandchildren, Shannon (Shane) Alexander, Larry Webb, David and Jonathan Rother; and great grandchildren, Ian Alexander and Benjamin Rother. He is also survived by his brother, Ernest Wyatt, and sisters, Elsie (Curt) Flynn, and Alberta (Bobby) White; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He attended Kettering Assembly of God, and he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Boulevard. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday, June 11, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
