Clyde "Tommy" Cox, age 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Village at the Greene. Clyde was born on September 4, 1939 in West Liberty, Kentucky to the late Robert and Goldie (Cantrell) Cox.
Along with his parents, Clyde is preceded in death by brothers, Bobby and Carl Cox.
Tommy is survived by his son, Jeffery Cox (Scott Richmond); daughters, Anita (Dave) Holmes, Deborah Cox; former wife & mother of his children, Thelma Cox; grandchildren, Suzanne (Brennan) Pascoe, David (Taylor) Holmes, Austin (Casey) Cox; great-grandchildren Aria Cox, Hudsen Marsh-Holmes, Zariah Cox; sisters, Myrtle (Pat) Sorge, Shirley Taylor; Vickie Brown, Martha (Ricky) Bittner; brothers, Larry (Cindy) Cox, Gary (Patricia) Cox; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Tommy was a 1958 graduate of Beavercreek High School and retired after 33 years from Duriron Company. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 764 and the Ol' Fashun Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed bowling and fishing.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 12:00 pm at New Burlington Cemetery in Chester Township, Ohio.
