Shorty Barnes
Age 67, of Riverside, passed away Friday, January 30, 2009, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Norma "Fay" Barnes; daughter & son-in-law, Melinda & Kenneth Boysel; and by one granddaughter, Brooke Shinlever.
Shorty is survived by his daughter, Rhonda & her husband, Ronnie Shinlever; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; his special friend, Joann Brenneman; and by his extended loving family and many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon, Monday, (2/2) at Northridge Freewill Baptist Church (where Shorty was a member), 4800 Payne Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Tim Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Shorty to his family to help with his funeral expenses.
