Clinton North

Clinton TJ North, age 79, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 19, 2016. He was born May 10, 1937 in Corbin, KY but was a resident of Dayton for 50+ years. He was preceded in death by his parents Beatrice Jackson and Bige North; sons Walter, Dwight and Emil; 5 brothers and 5 sisters. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 7 years, Linda (Jenkins) North; children Charles (Kathy) Brady, Gary Brady Sr., Teresa Holley and Arthur Holley; step children Victor Werling and Tina Werling; brothers Emil and Wilburn; sisters Gerdi Mae, Mildred, Berthie, Wanda and Lucy; numerous and dear grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was retired from the City of Dayton and Ryder. Clinton loved karaoke. A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 1pm-2pm with a funeral service to follow at 2pm. Burial will take place at Dayton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
