Clifton Gray

GRAY, Clifton, age 87, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2008. He is preceded in death by his son, James Clifton and brother, Samuel Gray. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Maudie Gray; children, Allen Gray, Helen Thomas, and husband Dennis, Jeanette Holland; brother, Lola Gray; sister, Florence Covey; grandsons, Jeffrey Allen Gray, and wife Pamela and James Matthew Gray, and wife Jennifer; great grandchildren, Alex, Kristen, A.J., and Austin Gray, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Clifton retired from Miami Foundry in Miamisburg and was a WWII U.S. Naval veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working outside, and spending time with his grandsons. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
