Clifton C. Melton
December 28, 1920 — February 12, 2014
Clifton Melton, age 93, of West Carrollton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 12, 2014.
Cliff served honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII as a member of the 83rd Infantry Thunderbolts as a 1st Lieutenant. Cliff was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a devote Christian throughout his adult life .
Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Lucille Melton; son, David Melton; daughter, Debbie Lou Sell; grandchildren, Tera & Sarah Melton, Nathan & Jason Albert, Tiffany Stoner and Rebecca Doman; great-grandchildren, Marissa, Brandon, Aiden, Gabriel and Danielle; and great-great-granddaughter, Amelia.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 10-11 am at Miami Shores Baptist Church (4000 Vance Rd, Moraine, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11 am. Burial will take place at Springboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cliff's memory to the charity of one's choice.
