Age 79, of Fairborn, passed away Friday, October 6, 2006, at the Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center. Cliff was born June 11, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to Arvid & Mollie (Knutson) Carlson.

He is survived by his wife of the past 48 years, Connie Carlson; four children, Donald (& wife, Lori) Carlson of Beavercreek, Jo Ann (& husband, Marty) Collins, Paul (& wife, Carla) Carlson, Heather (& husband, Bill) Fitzgerald and one sister, Dorothy Carlson, all of Huber Heights; 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Cliff retired in 1966 from the United States Air Force with 20 years of service and went on to retire again from the United States Postal Service with 19 years of service.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 10, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Pastor Jerry Siler will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
