Cletus B. Kobes, age 79, of Dayton, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011. He was born on January 3, 1932 to the late Anthony and Lorena Kobes. In addition to his parents, Cletus was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Mary Kobes and his son, Kirk Kobes.
He is survived by his Son, Michael (Amy) Kobes; Daughter, Lori Kobes; Grandchild, Brenna Kobes; Brothers, Marvin Kobes and Larry(Judy) Kobes; and a host of other family members and good friends.
Cletus was the proud owner and operator of Kobes Market. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Dayton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cletus' memory to Holy Trinity Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, Jan 03, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Holy Trinity Church, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior from 9:00-10:00 am. Father Ken Pleiman will officiate services. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.
