Cletus J. Gnau

Cletus J. Gnau, "Clete" age 70 of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born December 7, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Paul and Kathryn Gnau.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Gnau; and brother, Larry Gnau.
Clete is survived by his daughters, Melissa (Gary) Daugherty, Amanda (Justin) Boze; two granddaughters, Paige Collins, Kaitlyn Daugherty; grandson, Joseph Boze; two brothers, Kenneth Gnau, Craig Gnau; beloved dog, Rudy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Clete was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He was a very talented and hard-working man who loved his family.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Visitation will be from 4 pm until the time of service.
