Cleo Ray Bayles, age 81, passed away May 22, 2014. He was born March 19, 1933 in Marion, OH. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Cleo is survived by his loving wife Belva; Children, Sandra (Bruce) Wright, Ronnie (Jill) Caldwell and Melissa (Allen) Melton; sister, Edna Wittenbrook; nephews, Melvin Swigert and Jim Paugh; niece Sarah Bayles; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Caroline Bayles; son, Gregory D. Bayles and siblings, Dorothy Markino, Willard, Clifford and Richard Bayles. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. with Pastor Lonnie R. Bocook officiating. Burial at Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
