DAILEY, Clay E. born November 3, 1937, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 26, 2009. Clay was a retired teamster, life member of AMVETS, member of the VFW, Masonic Temple, Shriner's, a Kentucky Colonel, Moose Lodge, American Legion, and American Heritage. Clay joined the U.S. Army at the age of 15 in 1952, serving in Korea 1953-1954. He then joined the USAF 1955-1959, serving Air Sea Rescue. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Vela (Allen) Dailey; brothers, James and Bill Dailey; daughter, Melinda Dailey; and son Brian (Tim) Bilyeu. He is survived by his children, Anna (Glen) Hamby, Cheryl (Bill) Maguire, Rebecca (Byron) Gray, Renee (Alvin) Angel, Claylene Dailey; grandchildren, Melissa, Rachel, Stephanie, Amanda, Tricia, Joshua, Marcus, Kathryn, Trinity, and Juli; great-grandchildren, Jerin, Carter, and Israel; cherished niece, Tonya Dailey; step-child, Angel; good friends, Bobby Jones, Tom and Alberta Gillispie; and the love of his life, Linda Dailey. Clay touched many hearts and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Services will be 11 am Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
