Claudia M. Beisel

Claudia M. Beisel, age 96 of Dayton, OH, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Symphony of Centerville. She was born October 18, 1920 in Germantown, Ohio, the daughter of Normal and Irma (Weiser) Bennett. She married Robert L. Beisel in 1943 in Dayton, OH.

Claudia, or Teenie as her brothers and sisters called her, was a homemaker and loved gardening. She loved to play bingo and slot machines, and enjoyed visiting the casinos with her family. Claudia loved being a grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Claudia is survived by her two daughters, Claudia M. (Jack) Bergin, Joann M. (Dennis) Cutcher; a son, Lawrence E. Beisel; seven grandchildren; Kristina Rader, Jennifer Beisel, Sarah Bergin, Michelle (Bryan) Haney, Olivia (Tyler) Williams, Natalie (Tyler) Fruhwirth and Alexandra Bergin; eight great grandchildren, Trenton, Katelyn, Alex, Noah, Mason, Jackson, Liam and Logan; a brother, John Bennett; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a son, Robert L. Beisel, Jr.

Visitation will be August 11, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
