Claude William Tilley

October 12, 1944 — July 13, 2021

Claude William "Cowboy" Tilley, age 76, of Medway, passed away on July 13, 2021. He was born in Morristown, Tennessee, on October 12, 1944, the son of the late Fred and Marie Tilley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Doris Cline.

Claude is survived by his loving children, Mark (Heather) Tilley and Claudia (Kevin) Miller; grandchildren, Sueronna (Corey) Pooler, Addison Miller and Aiden Miller; great grandchildren, Kameron Pooler, Elliott Pooler and Ben Pooler; mother of his children, Alene (Robert) Loudermilk; siblings, Clifford Tilley and Brenda Matthews; cousin, Kyle Tilley; and many close friends from Morristown, TN and from his years at Cargill Corn Plant.

He retired from Cargill Corn Plant. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of New Carlisle for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed socializing with his friends, riding his motorcycle and fishing. Claude never met a stranger, always friendly and everyone who met him truly enjoyed the stories he told.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-6:00pm, on Monday, July 19, 2021, at Way of the Cross Church, 612 Beatrice Drive, Riverside, where Funeral Services will begin at 6:00pm with Robert Loudermilk officiating, at the church. Claude will be laid to rest at a later date privately by the family at Adriel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Bean Station, TN.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Fraternal Order of Eagles, New Carlisle, OH.
