Claude Thompson

Thompson, Claude R., 75, of Xenia passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 55 ½ years, Glenderel Thompson; daughters Sharon R. McGrath, her husband Patrick, and Shrell "Shirl" Skaggs, her husband Dennis; grandchildren Emily, Philip (wife Jamie), Andrew, Julie, Benjamin, Jacob, Alex, Reed, and Spenser; great grandchildren Andrew, Nicholas, Briana, and Kaitlyn; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Claude was a veteran in the U.S. Navy with service in the Korean War. Funeral services will be held 7:00PM December 11, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Friday prior to services. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Salvation Army, 138 S. Wilkinson St., Dayton, Ohio 45402.
