Claude R. Sacksteder

Sacksteder, Claude R., age 70, of Centerville, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014. Claude was born February 22, 1944 in Augsburg, Germany. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier with over 39 years of service and was a member of the NALC (National Association of Letter Carriers).

Claude is survived by his wife of 43 years: Anna M. (Dineen) Sacksteder; his parents: Charles R. & Elsa (Kestler) Sacksteder; sister and brother-in-law: Barbara (James) Thomas; nephew: Bill Lee; aunt: Susan Sacksteder; and numerous other family members and friends.

A Memorial Mass celebrating Claude's life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, December 8, 2014 at St. Charles Center, St. Joseph's Chapel, 2860 U. S. Route 127, Carthagena, Ohio 45822.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Hospice of Dayton or the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Claude. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home – Kettering, Ohio.
