Claude (Pete) Proffit

PROFFIT, Claude (Pete), age 87 passed away Monday, March 10, 2003 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. He is survived by Ta-Litha, his loving wife of 29 years; son Pete and wife Janet Proffit; step children Gladys, Randy, Kay, Anna, and Charlotte; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Claude retired from Millwright Local 104 after many years of service . He was a life member of West Carrollton VFW Post 3438, life member of DAV, and a member of the Moraine City Eagles 3925. Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Thursday at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd.. Family will receive friends from 5-7 pm at the funeral home prior to service.
