Claude H. Gilmore, age 94 of Huber Heights, passed away November 17, 2013. He was born March 9, 1919 in Bonnyman, KY.
Claude is survived by his wife, Elaine Gilmore; children: Richard Gilmore and Claudia (Doug) Manning; step-children: Diane (Brad) Ogg, Larry Gapen, Terry (Brenda) Gapen, JoAnne (Tim) Fister and Barry (Bobbi) Gapen; 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; sisters: Christine Moreland and Emma Kipp; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Claude was a veteran of the U.S. Army, WWII, where he was a Sgt. Claude was a member of the Brookville Lodge F.&A.M. and was a former president of the Huber Heights Senior Center. He was a painter with Litzy Painting Company for many years before his retirement.
Contributions may be made in Claude's memory to either the Huber Heights Senior Citizens Club or to any Hospice Group of your choice.
